Digitalift — Strategic Leads System for Local Service Businesses

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers.
No runaround.

Twenty-seven questions. The ones every owner asks before they hand someone a check — contracts, refunds, lead ownership, the catch. Answered the way we'd want someone to answer us.

01

The Basics

The Basics.

What does Digitalift actually do?

We install a lead generation system for local service businesses — plumbers, roofers, fencing companies, and other home service contractors. One system that captures leads, tracks every one of them, and ties them to real revenue.

Not a list of services. A system that produces one number: cost per booked job.

What industries do you work with?

Home services and skilled trades — plumbing, roofing, fencing, HVAC, electrical, painting, remodeling, landscaping, concrete, and similar. If your business sends crews to job sites and books appointments, we're probably a fit.

If you're a restaurant, law firm, or e-commerce brand — we're not.

Do you only work with businesses in Orange County?

We focus on Orange County and surrounding areas because local marketing works best when we know the market deeply. That said, the system works for any service area — if you're the right fit, geography isn't a dealbreaker.

How is this different from hiring a marketing agency?

Most agencies sell you services — a website, some ads, maybe social media — and hand you off to an account manager. We install one integrated system, run by the founders, that tracks every lead from first click to booked job.

No handoffs. No junior staff. And our number is cost per booked job — not impressions, not clicks, not "brand awareness."

How is this different from Thumbtack, Angi, or HomeAdvisor?

Those platforms sell you the same lead they sold to four of your competitors. You're bidding against your neighbors for a homeowner who's already shopping price.

We build your own pipeline — your website, your Google rankings, your ads, your reputation — so the lead comes to you first, not to a marketplace. You stop renting leads. You start owning the channel.

Pricing & Commitment

Pricing & commitment.

How much does it cost?

Our core system starts at $2,500/month for businesses under $1M in revenue, and $5,000/month for businesses in the $1M–$3M range.

There's a 90-day minimum because the system needs time to produce real data. No setup fees. No hidden costs. No à la carte.

Why a 90-day minimum? Why can't I do month-to-month?

Because the system is built in phases — audit, launch, optimize — and results compound over time. Month-to-month means you'd leave before the system has a chance to prove itself.

Every client who's stayed 90 days has seen measurable results. That's not a coincidence.

Is there a contract?

Yes — 90 days. After that, you stay because it's working, not because you're locked in. We don't do long-term contracts to trap people.

If the numbers don't work after 90 days, you leave with everything we built.

Do you offer a refund if it doesn't work?

We don't offer refunds, but we do something better: full transparency. You see every dollar in, every lead out, every dollar of revenue — in real time. If the numbers aren't there at the 90-day mark, you walk with every asset we built.

Most agencies hold your site, your ad accounts, and your data hostage. We hand it all over. Refunds protect bad work. Transparency prevents it.

Do you guarantee results?

We don't guarantee a specific number of leads or a specific cost per booked job — because anyone who does is either lying or padding the price.

What we do guarantee: the system gets installed, the tracking is real, the weekly calls happen, and you'll know exactly what's working and what isn't by day 90. If you've never had clarity on your numbers before, that itself is the result.

What's included in the monthly fee?

Everything. Website build or rebuild, Google Ads management, Google Business Profile optimization, speed-to-lead automation, missed call recovery, review management, weekly check-in calls, monthly reporting.

The only additional cost is your ad spend, which goes directly to Google — we don't mark it up.

Do I need to pay for ads on top of the monthly fee?

Yes. Ad spend goes directly to Google — we don't touch it, mark it up, or bundle it into our fee. Most of our clients spend between $1,500–$5,000/month on ads depending on their market and goals.

We'll recommend the right budget based on your numbers.

03

How It Works

How it actually works.

What happens in the first two weeks?

We tear everything apart. Audit your website, your ads, your Google listing, your phone lines. Install tracking so every call and form fill is tied to where it came from. Wire your speed-to-lead system so leads get a response in under 60 seconds.

Deliver your Day 0 report — a snapshot of where things stand before we change anything.

When will I start seeing results?

You'll see activity within the first month — calls coming in from tracked sources, real data flowing. But the system is designed to compound. Month two is better than month one. Month three is better than month two.

Most clients see a clear before-and-after by the 90-day mark.

Do you build me a new website?

If your current site isn't converting visitors into calls and form fills, yes — we rebuild it. If it's working, we improve it. Either way, your site becomes part of the system, not just a brochure. Every page is built to drive a specific action.

What does the weekly check-in look like?

30 minutes. Same day and time every week. Video call with the founders. We walk through last week's numbers — how many leads, where they came from, what they cost, what booked. Then we talk about what we're adjusting.

No fluff. No slide decks. Just the numbers.

What reports do I get?

A monthly report that answers four questions: Where are we going? How are we getting there? What does it cost? And what's working? It's built around revenue — not vanity metrics.

You also get real-time access to your numbers between reports.

04

Trust & Accountability

Trust & accountability.

Who actually works on my account?

Michael and Dan — the founders. Not an account manager. Not a coordinator. Not a junior hire learning on your dime.

The same two people on the strategy call are the same two people on your weekly check-in, every week.

How do I know it's actually working?

Because every lead is tracked to the dollar. You'll know which campaign made the phone ring, what that call cost, and whether it turned into revenue.

No guessing. No "trust us, traffic is up." Real numbers tied to real revenue.

I've been burned by agencies before. Why should I trust you?

We hear this on almost every call. Here's the honest answer: we can't undo what the last agency did. But we can show you exactly what's happening — every lead, every dollar, every result — and let the numbers speak.

That's why we track everything. Transparency isn't a selling point for us. It's the whole system.

What happens if I want to leave after 90 days?

You keep everything we built — the website, the tracking, the automations, the data. It's your business. We don't hold assets hostage.

If the system is working, you stay. If it's not, you leave with more than you came in with.

Who owns the website, ad account, and leads?

You do. All of it. The website is built on your domain. The Google Ads account is in your name with us as a manager — not the other way around. The Google Business Profile, the call tracking numbers, the CRM, the lead database — all of it is yours.

If you leave, we hand over admin access and walk away. No held assets. No "we built it on our platform." Ever.

Why only 30 clients?

Because this is founder-run. Michael and Dan are on every account, every week. If we took 100 clients, we'd need to hire account managers — and then we'd be exactly the kind of agency we built this to replace.

Thirty clients means every business gets the attention that actually moves the needle.

Got Your Real Question Yet?

The answer that matters isn't on this page.
It's your numbers.

We'll pull up your Google listing, your ads, your competitors — live, on the call — and show you where leads are leaking. Thirty minutes. No deck.

Getting Started

Getting started.

Can I see a sample report before I sign?

Yes. On the strategy call we'll walk you through a real client's monthly report and weekly dashboard — names redacted. You'll see the four-question structure, the cost-per-booked-job math, the call tracking, the ad spend reconciliation.

If you can't picture what you're paying for, you shouldn't be paying for it.

What's a strategy call? Is it a sales pitch?

No pitch deck. No pressure. We pull up your numbers — your Google listing, your ads, your competitors — and show you where leads are falling through the cracks.

If we're a fit, we'll tell you. If we're not, we'll tell you that too. Takes about 30 minutes.

How do I know if I'm a good fit?

You're a home service business doing $300K–$10M in revenue. You have a team — not just you on a truck. You answer your phone (or have someone who does). And you're tired of paying for marketing you can't measure.

If that's you, book a call.

How quickly can we get started?

After the strategy call, most clients start within a week. Agreement Monday, signed Wednesday, kickoff Thursday.

The first two weeks are foundation — audit, tracking, setup. Ads and the new site go live within 30 days.

The Honest Pitch

Right now you're paying for traffic and losing most of it before it ever becomes a job on your calendar.

The Strategic Leads System fixes the leak in four places at once — what's bringing people in, what's converting them on the website, what's getting them on the phone, and what's getting them booked. By day 90 you'll know exactly what every dollar produced, and the cost per booked job will be the lowest you've ever seen — because every fix from month 1 is still working for you in month 3.

No pitch deck. No sales rep. 30 minutes, owner to owner — with Michael & Dan.
