Founders' Letter · Anaheim, California
About Digitalift
We built it for one reason — to grow local service businesses the way we'd want ours grown. Two founders. Thirty clients. Every account, hands on.
The Problem We Saw
You sign up after a great sales call with the founder. Then you get handed off to an account manager you've never met. Your work goes to a junior specialist still learning the craft. The reports come back full of impressions and rankings — but nobody can tell you which part of it made the phone ring.
The deeper problem: no one ties the spend back to revenue. Owners can't tell you what their leads cost. They can't tell you which ones became booked jobs. They can't draw a line from a dollar of ad spend to a dollar in the bank. They just know the phone rings sometimes, and the check clears every month — so they keep paying. Not because they know it's working. Because they're afraid of what happens if they stop.
That's not a partnership.
That's a subscription to hope.
We built Digitalift to be the opposite of that — every account run by the founders, every dollar of spend traced to a real phone call, every call tied back to revenue. Closed-loop. By design, not by accident.
Who We Are
Michael Goodarzi
Founder & CEO · 15+ years in digital marketing
Founder & CEO · The Strategy
The premise: if you charge real money for marketing, you should be able to show — in plain English — exactly what it produced in revenue.
Michael runs the math behind the system. Campaign mechanics, tracking, the reports, the keyword strategy. He started Digitalift in Anaheim with one rule he refused to break: not impressions, not "brand awareness," not vanity metrics. Tracked revenue. Every call attributed. Every dollar of spend held up against the average ticket until the math is impossible to argue with.
In the data before the owner is. When something shifts — a keyword bleeding budget, a campaign double-counting, a lead source quietly drying up — Michael sees it first and fixes it before it shows up on a report. That's what running a campaign looks like when the person building it is the same person reading the numbers.
Dan Brabender
Co-founder, Client Strategy · 12+ years working with local owners
Co-Founder · The Boots on the Ground
Dan is the one who knocks on the door. In person. On the jobsite. At the shop.
While Michael's in the numbers, Dan's in the truck. He's the one who called a client's main line and got voicemail — then turned that into item one on the strategy plan. He's the one who sat down with a plumber and his wife at their kitchen table and walked through what it actually costs when AI search sends every lead to the competitor down the street.
"AI search sends every lead to the competitor down the street."
What Dan tells owners at the kitchen table
Dan doesn't pitch marketing. He listens to how the business actually runs — how calls come in, how jobs get booked, where the slow weeks hit, what the average ticket really is when you back out the bad ones. Then he and Michael build the plan around what's real. No pitch deck. Just a conversation between people who've all run businesses and know what it costs when the phone stops ringing.
The Cap
Client seats. That's it.
More clients, more account managers, more layers between the owner and your business. That's how every agency you've already hired works. And how every report you've already received gets written.
Digitalift caps at 30 clients. Every seat is a strategic choice. We don't take on businesses we can't move the needle for, and we don't spread ourselves thin enough that your account becomes somebody's Tuesday afternoon task.
When you work with us, you work with us. Michael and Dan. Not a rotating cast of coordinators reading from a playbook somebody else wrote.
The trade-off: we're not the cheapest. We're not the biggest. But every client gets the full team, the full system, and the full attention. Owner to owner.
What that looks like in practice: $187K in tracked pipeline for one logistics client last quarter. $15,750 in booked revenue from a single month of leads for another. Every dollar traceable to a campaign.
What We Actually Do
We install the Strategic Leads System (SLS) — a 90-day program that turns your website and ad spend into a predictable revenue engine. By Day 90, you'll have a real number: what every dollar of marketing produced in tracked revenue. Not a guess. Not a projection. A number backed by data you can see.
Every lead source tracked in one place.
You'll know which calls came from Google Ads, which came from Google Maps, and which came from your website. Every form, every text, every call — attributed.
Speed-to-lead automation.
So the next lead doesn't go to voicemail. Missed calls become text follow-ups within 60 seconds — before they call your competitor.
A website built to convert.
Not just look good — actually make someone pick up the phone. Built for the new AI search landscape and the homeowners using it.
Google Ads tied to revenue, not just leads.
Every dollar of ad spend traced to a tracked call, every call traced to a booked job, every booked job tied to the revenue it produced. No vanity metrics, no inflated conversion definitions, no hidden bleed.
Review automation.
So every completed job feeds the engine that brings the next one. Reputation compounds — by design, not by accident.
And it gets smarter every month it runs.
The Honest Pitch
Right now you're paying for traffic and losing most of it before it ever becomes a job on your calendar.
The Strategic Leads System fixes the leak in four places at once — what's bringing people in, what's converting them on the website, what's getting them on the phone, and what's getting them booked. By day 90 you'll know exactly what every dollar produced, and the cost per booked job will be the lowest you've ever seen — because every fix from month 1 is still working for you in month 3.
No pitch deck. No sales rep. 30 minutes, owner to owner — with Michael & Dan.
